Through the implementation of this project, Resko will become a pioneer in ecological astaxanthin extraction methods, enhancing its market competitiveness while supporting the principles of sustainable development.
Marketing Activities of Resko: Increasing Consumer Awareness Through the Promotion of “Clean Label” Shrimp in International Markets
This operation aims to promote a new line of preservative-free shrimp products without phosphates, antibiotics, or flavor enhancers, meeting the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety. The initiative focuses on educating consumers and raising awareness of the health and environmental benefits of choosing products from sustainable aquaculture and fisheries.
The operation is conducted at an international level, targeting primarily the markets in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, where consumer awareness and demand for clean-label products are particularly high, especially in the meat sector, but not necessarily in seafood. By addressing this gap, the initiative seeks to position clean-label shrimp as a conscious alternative.
The primary goal is to increase the recognition of the new clean-label shrimp product line and promote sustainable fisheries and aquaculture as responsible consumer choices. The project also aims to support the industry and develop the seafood market through marketing efforts focused on consumer awareness and education about the benefits of sustainable seafood.
The operation targets a broad audience, including:
Special emphasis is placed on Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, with the potential for expansion into other European markets where there is demand for seafood that meets clean-label standards.
As part of the operation, the following activities will be carried out:
Key anticipated results include:
The operation aligns with broader marketing efforts to support the organization and development of the seafood market, emphasizing consumer education while maintaining a strong focus on quality, hygiene, and food safety.
